Ms. Urban is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker whose practice focuses on women over the age of 18. Her experience includes 15 years treating adults in community mental health settings before opening a private practice in conjunction with Audubon Women’s Medical Associates in Williamsville in 2013. Ms. Urban's work focuses on issues such as maternal mental health, postpartum depression, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, depression and anxiety, resolving relationship conflict, parenting issues, grief and loss, stress management, life transitions and women’s health. Ms. Urban incorporates a variety of treatment modalities into her work, combining cognitive behavioral concepts with a strengths based approach. She provides individual counseling to help women improve their quality of life by learning to more effectively manage their symptoms and reduce their overall level of emotional distress, with a focus on improving emotional health and wellness.
