Jonathan Treible is a native of Rome, New York, growing up in the foothills of the Adirondacks. After training and working in the biological sciences for ten years, Dr. Treible was graduated from the State University College at Oneonta with majors in psychology and German. He was a student of German at the Goethe Institut in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany gaining language competency to study psychology at the University of Wuerzburg and University of Bonn, Germany for two years.  He earned his masters and doctorate degrees in psychology from the State University of New York at Buffalo. With six years of post graduate training in psychotherapy including specialized training in working with individuals, couples and families, he completed a  one year advanced training program in working with couples and families and small systems recently.  A student of yoga for 20 years, Dr. Treible is interested in holistic approaches to therapy.

A member of the American Psychological Association and Board Certified in Clinical Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP), Dr. Treible has taught psychology at DYouville, Daemen, Canisius and Medaille Colleges and at the State University of Buffalo. In addition to private practice, he has taught training modules and conducted workshops on stress management, health and wellness, anxiety disorders, smoking cessation, grief and loss, working through life transitions, pain management,  intimacy, applied behavioral analysis and team building. Currently, he teaches the yoga class recommended by Dean Ornish, M.D. in his program for reversing heart disease.  His half time practice in Central New York was taken over by another provider.  After spending half of the week in Central New York and half of the week in Western New York for seven years, he is currently practicing in Western New York. Dr. Treible enjoys vigorous physical exercise and wilderness experiences.
