Michael
Harrison is a licensed psychologist who has been practicing in Orchard
Park for 25 years.
He has an undergraduate degree from McGill University and a Ph.D.
in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania. He also was a post-doctoral
fellow in Clinical Psychology at The State University of New York
at Buffalo and did his internship at the Erie County Medical Center.
He has many years of experience in community mental health, as a clinician,
supervisor, administrator and business consultant. |

Dr.
Harrison treats individuals and couples eighteen and older in a general
practice, treating a wide range of people and problems. He usually
works from a short-term, cognitive-behavioral perspective, but is
equally comfortable providing longer-term insight therapy. He often
uses therapy to teach people specific personal and interpersonal skills.
In addition to his private practice, he does some consulting to local
businesses and industries including on-site education and management
consultation. Dr. Harrison's patients value his concern and his ability
to structure solutions to problems. |
